NEW SMYRNA BEACH — Want to learn how to twirl? Well, you are in luck as the New Smyrna Beach Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring classes this month with Terri’s Twirling Tornadoes,
National Twirl and Pom Champions.
Classes are conducted by instructor Terri Hartman and held 3:30 to 7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the New Smyrna Beach City Gym, 100 Live Oak St.
The cost is $30 for residents and $35 for non-residents.

Check it out. Retirees in The Villages in Florida have formed their own baton group. This group of 90 (7 of which are men) perform for water polo games, and events such as the Martin Luther King parade in Orlando, Florida.
